ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW TO TRAVEL SAFELY DURING COVID-19

 

Safety and health measures for a safe trip

 Moroccan Airports has set up adapted measures to safely accommodate passengers. The top priority of the system is to protect travelers, staff and all airport users.

 Social distancing, face mask and hygiene

 

We want our passengers to be able to travel again with no worry and in a pleasant way. Our first priority is to guarantee their safety and health as well as that of our staff.  We count on your cooperation to maintain social distancing to protect yourself and others.

 Always keep a 1.5 meters distance from others. Stickers on the ground are installed, throughout your way to organize the queues and ensure fluidity in the various airports areas

 To help you maintain social distancing: we have installed plexiglass screens where there is human interaction with passengers: check-in counters, information counters and border posts (Departure and Arrival).

  • Wearing a mask is mandatory in all airports areas.
  • It is recommended to wash and disinfect your hands regularly. Disinfectant gels distributors, free of charge, are installed on your way thought the different airports zones.

Sterile masks and disinfectant gels are also available for sale in some shops located in our airports..

 
Sanitary control

Passengers upon arrival must undergo checks by health authorities

The Moroccan authorities have drawn up two lists (list A and list B) classifying the countries on the basis of their epidemiological situation. The “A” and “B” lists are published on the electronic sites of the ministries responsible for Foreign Affairs, Health and Tourism. They will be updated regularly at least twice a month as needed:

CONDITIONS OF ACCESS TO MOROCCAN TERRITORY

For passengers coming from countries on the list “A”:

Passengers coming from these countries, can have access to the Moroccan territory upon producing:

  • The health form, duly filled in and signed, in particular the passenger's address and two telephone numbers allowing them to be located, if necessary, during the 10 days following their arrival on national territory; (to be downloaded online before boarding, also distributed on board the aircraft );
  • A certificate attesting that the passenger is fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 (at least two weeks after the administration of the 2nd dose of the vaccine or the one-dosevaccine);

For passengers coming from countries on the list “B”:

Passengers coming from these countries, can have access to the Moroccan territory upon producing :

  • The health form, duly filled in and signed, in particular the passenger's address and two telephone numbers allowing them to be located, if necessary, during the 10 days following their arrival on national territory; (to be downloaded online before boarding, also distributed on board the aircraft );
  • A certificate attesting that the passenger is fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 (at least two weeks after the administration of the 2nd dose of the vaccine or the one-dosevaccine);
  • A negative PCR certificate not exceeding 48 hours at the time of boarding (interval between sampling and boarding).

For passengers coming from countries on the list “C”:

Prohibition of access to Moroccan territory for passengers coming directly from countries on list C or transiting through another country.

Upon arrival in Moroccan territory, passengers will be subject to:

  • Double temperature control, systematic
  • Random control by rapid antigenic test

In case of rapid antigen test positivity on arrival:

  • Moroccans and foreigners residing in morocco who test positive on arrival in morocco will be taken care of by a health facility, with 10-day confinement according to the health protocol in force;
  • Any other passenger who tests positive on arrival will not be allowed to enter the national territory and must return immediately to the country of origin at the total expense of the air transport company.

NB : 

  • The above access conditions apply to anyone aged 12 and over;
  • Children aged 6 to 11 years old must present a negative PCR, regardless of their country of origin;
  • Children under the age of 6 are exempted from any access conditions.
Disinfection and cleaning

 

  • We enhance our cleaning and disinfection actions, especially for the trays at security screening, sanitary blocks and all the airports zones.
  • We disinfect baggage by using a virucidal sprayer at passenger access, check-in and delivery points.
